Creeper have shared a new video for “Parasite”, putting the fans at the centre of their Sanguivore era as the band prepare for their October UK headline shows.

Creeper have released a new video for “Parasite”, the latest visual from their Sanguivore II: Mistress Of Death era, with the band's attention turned firmly towards the people on the other side of the stage.

Rather than centring the performance itself, the video captures Creeper's fans during the band's intimate Sangui-Tour earlier this year. Costumes, make-up, shouted lyrics and the atmosphere inside the venues all become part of the story, reflecting the elaborate world that has grown around the band's vampire mythology.

Frontman William Von Ghould said the band quickly realised that some of the most dramatic moments were happening in the crowd rather than onstage, prompting longtime visual collaborator Harry Steel to turn his camera around and focus on the audience.

That approach makes “Parasite” feel less like another conventional performance video and more like a document of the community that has developed around the Sanguivore records. Creeper have increasingly treated their music, characters, costumes and live shows as parts of one larger world, and the new film puts the people inhabiting that world alongside the band itself.

The timing also leads directly into the next chapter of the band's live plans.

Creeper begin their Off With Their Heads! UK headline tour on 8 October, with dates in Cardiff, London, Manchester and Glasgow. Calva Louise and Starbenders will join the run as support.

There's another reason the London date is particularly significant. Creeper have confirmed that their 9 October show at O2 Forum Kentish Town will be filmed for their first full-length live concert film, again with Steel behind the camera. The band have described the forthcoming tour as their most ambitious yet, with a new stage production continuing the story established across the Sanguivore albums.

For a band whose live identity has become increasingly theatrical, it feels like a natural next step: the current era isn't just being performed onstage, it's being documented from inside the audience as well.
