Iron Maiden Announce 16 More North American Shows for Final ‘Run For Your Lives’ Tour Leg

Iron Maiden have announced 16 additional North American shows for spring 2027, extending their Run For Your Lives tour after previously planning to take a break from live performances next year.

The newly announced dates run from 14 April to 16 May, taking in venues across the United States and Canada before concluding with headline appearances at Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio, and Boardwalk Rock in Ocean City, Maryland. The band will bring the full production from their 50th-anniversary show to the new dates, with a setlist drawn from their early decades.

The decision to return came after the band’s recent North American leg. “As many of our fans know, Maiden were planning on taking a break from live performances in 2027, but we’ve been enjoying this last leg in the USA and Canada so much that we all had a chat and decided we should take the show to parts we missed,” says bassist Steve Harris.

Harris highlighted the Pacific Northwest and southeastern United States as areas the band wanted to reach, adding that the festival appearances would give them the chance to play to audiences beyond their established fanbase.

The tour will also bring back Eddie’s Dive Bars, the fan meet-up events that have accompanied the anniversary run. Manager Rod Smallwood said the events had become part of the atmosphere around the tour and would return alongside the new dates.

The support bill features fellow British metal bands Bullet For My Valentine and The Raven Age. Iron Maiden say the three-band British lineup is their first of its kind since 1983. Bullet For My Valentine are due to release their new album, Social Apocalypse, on 19 March 2027, while The Raven Age previously joined Maiden for dates in South and Central America.

These shows are confirmed as the final leg of the Run For Your Lives tour, rather than a retirement announcement. By its conclusion, the tour is expected to have played 107 shows across 36 countries to more than three million fans, marking the end of Iron Maiden’s extensive 50th-anniversary celebrations.

Artist fan-club presales begin on 19 October at 10am local time, with general ticket sales opening on 23 October at 10am local time. Festival tickets will be handled separately by the respective events.
