Marilyn Manson Announces 30th Anniversary Edition of ‘Antichrist Superstar’
Marilyn Manson is marking the 30th anniversary of Antichrist Superstar with a remastered vinyl edition featuring previously unreleased photographs, handwritten lyrics and sketches from his personal notebooks.

Announced on 14 October, the release revisits Manson’s second studio album, originally released in 1996. The record became a defining release of his career, bringing industrial metal, abrasive rock and confrontational imagery to a wider audience.
Waxwork Records is issuing the album as a two-LP set on midnight blue vinyl with iridescent gold and green haze, housed in gatefold packaging. Its 28-page booklet features scans of Manson’s original notebooks alongside previously unreleased photography from the Antichrist Superstar era. A cassette edition is also available.
Revolver is offering a separate exclusive pressing on crystal-clear vinyl with black smoke, accompanied by an anniversary T-shirt and turntable slipmat. Its edition has a 24-page booklet, distinct from the 28-page Waxwork version.
The vinyl editions are available to preorder, with shipping anticipated in January 2027.
Manson is also marking the anniversary with a run of shows billed as An Evening With Marilyn Manson: Celebrating 30 Years of Antichrist Superstar. The dates include two nights at The Fillmore in New Orleans on 14 and 15 October, followed by performances in San Antonio on 17 and 18 October, Austin on 21 and 22 October, and Los Angeles on 31 October and 1 November. He is also scheduled to appear at Sick New World Texas in Fort Worth on 24 October.
The anniversary release centres on the original album and the material surrounding its creation, offering collectors access to archival photographs and reproductions of Manson’s handwritten notes rather than new recordings.
The Antichrist Superstar 30th-anniversary editions are available to preorder now, ahead of their anticipated January 2027 shipment.
