Formed in 2025, the band features Zak Watson on vocals and guitar, Josephine Rose on guitar and vocals, Jamie-Lee Culver on bass and David Zbirka on drums. Their debut EP, Silent Pictures, introduced their blend of gothic post-punk, melodic basslines, angular guitars and baritone vocals, drawing on influences including Joy Division, The Cure and Bauhaus.

The band have attracted attention from publications including The Line of Best Fit, So Young, Rolling Stone UK and Louder Than War. Their radio support has included BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Radio 1, KEXP and Radio X, according to the band's press release.

‘Lady Rust’ takes its inspiration from a decaying manor house and the legend of an ancient vampire said to guard its grounds. The story follows a figure who survives as the building crumbles around her, with visitors drawn to the property but few making it back out.

‘Lady Rust’ tells the story about an ancient vampire that guards the land of a former Manor House. The house is slowly deteriorating, walls are falling apart and collapsing like the skin on her bones. ‘Lady Rust’ continues to live on as a legend of the land with many trying to visit the house but few managing to escape.Zak Watson, frontman
