A Perfect Circle Follow ‘Starless’ With New Single ‘To Whom It May Concern’

A Perfect Circle have released their second new song of 2026, with ‘To Whom It May Concern’ arriving alongside the announcement of an extensive North American tour for spring 2027.

The track follows ‘Starless’, which was released earlier this year and subsequently reached No. 1 on the US Active Rock radio chart. No new album has been announced alongside the latest single.

‘To Whom It May Concern’ was written earlier this year and recorded at Billy Howerdel’s Lankershim Ranch Studio in Studio City, California. Howerdel produced the track, with Matty Green handling the mix and Josh Freese on drums.

The new release also comes with a hint that it may not be the last A Perfect Circle material to emerge. Following the song’s release, Howerdel wrote: “To Whom It May Concern is next up! More to come.”

For now, exactly what that means remains open. There is no confirmed album or further release schedule, but the arrival of two new songs in 2026 marks a return to recording for the band after their most recent album, Eat The Elephant, was released in 2018.

The new single arrives as A Perfect Circle prepare for a substantial run of North American shows in 2027. The tour begins in Vancouver on 13 April and concludes in Phoenix on 13 June, taking the band across Canada and the United States.

The touring lineup also creates an unusual crossover within Maynard James Keenan’s musical projects. Puscifer will support A Perfect Circle on the Canadian dates and at the Detroit show, while The Cult will join the majority of the US dates.

The tour follows A Perfect Circle’s international performances later this year, with dates scheduled in Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

For a band whose last studio album arrived eight years ago, the arrival of two new songs in the same year is notable in itself. Whether To Whom It May Concern is the beginning of something larger remains unanswered for now, but Howerdel’s promise of “more to come” leaves the door open.
