Christine and the Queens is preparing a return to the stage, announcing a new single and four intimate European performances this December.

The French artist, led by Héloïse Letissier, has been hinting at new music in recent weeks, recently clearing their social media channels and sharing studio photographs with the message: “Folks, we cooked it enough. I think it’s time we play you the music.”

The new single, expected next week, is titled Rendez-Vous Avec Toi. The announcement marks the beginning of a new chapter following 2024’s Hopecore, released under the name Rahim Redcar, and 2023’s expansive album PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE.

Alongside the new music comes a short run of four European shows, beginning at Brussels’ Botanique on 1 December before heading to London’s Scala on 7 December. Further performances follow at Amsterdam’s Tolhuistuin on 8 December and Paris’ Alhambra on 10 December.

Describing the dates as an opportunity to reconnect with audiences, the artist wrote: “Dear comrades, I’ve missed you. Back on stage for four very special shows. A moment of live music, shared together, before the next journey begins.”

For London fans, the Scala appearance offers a rare opportunity to see Christine and the Queens in a much smaller setting than the larger venues associated with previous tours.

Tickets go on general sale on Tuesday 3 November at 9:30am GMT, with fan access beginning on Monday 2 November.
